5 Awesome San Diego Events Happening Next Month
Don’t know what to attend with your friends? The San Diego Charter Bus Company has you covered.
After the thrill of Halloween, November might feel like a dud until Thanksgiving hits with its horde of turkeys, perfectly-seasoned stuffing, and entertaining family drama. But the three weeks leading up until then don’t have to be a bore. Here are five San Diego events you can attend in November to spice up the pre-Thanksgiving lull.
San Diego Beer Week – November 3-17, 2017
Designed to promote San Diego’s local breweries, this two-week event is perfect for those wanting to immerse themselves in the local culture, hop into events at their own convenience, and—best of all—have access to the most banging beer in San Diego.
Want to have the freedom to drink and not drive? Rent one of our minibuses and drink at your own pace worry-free.
2017 Carlsbad Fall Village Faire – November 5, 2017, 8 AM to 4 PM
With over 900 vendors and an international food court, the Carlsbad Fall Village Faire will be sure to give you the post-Halloween pick-me-up you need.
Parking is far from the fair, so you might want to hop on an Uber, rent a minibus, or—if you decide to invite your whole family, your school, and your entire neighborhood (no judgment!)—get yourself a charter bus. Or an LA charter bus, if you hail from there. Who knows? You might even need a handy-dandy San Francisco bus rental to get you from the Bay to SD.
Escondido Tamale Festival – November 11, 2017, 11 AM to 5 PM
Who doesn’t like a good tamale? Or fifty? Get access to a Best Tamale Contest (yes, it exists!), a collection of craft brews, and a Chihuahua Fashion Show in this once-a-year event.
The best part? It’s free.
So You Think You Can Dance, Season 14 Tour – November 14, 2017, 7:30 PM
Come watch the hit series live in the San Diego Civic Theatre and tick something off your bucket list. The show will feature finalists Kaylee, Koine, Lex, Dassy, Logan, Mark, Robert, Sydney Taylor, and Kiki, along with All Stars Marko Germar and Jasimin Harper.
Tickets are sold here.
San Diego Jazz Fest – November 22-26, 2017
Enjoy a couple of chill evenings at the San Diego Jazz Fest and listen to the nation’s best jazz musicians play your favorite traditional tunes.
The fest takes place during Thanksgiving week, so if you don’t feel like cooking or enduring the family drama, you’ve just found the perfect escape. Buy tickets here.
With these five awesome events happening in November, you’ll be sure to find something that fills that empty space before the fun of Thanksgiving arrives. Don’t forget to take your friends—and to book the perfect transportation for your group so you can do none of the driving and all the relaxing.
